Vonogen-20 mg Tablet 10’s belongs to the class of potassium-competitive acid blockers (PCAB) used to manage acid-related gastrointestinal disorders such as reflux esophagitis, gastric ulcers, duodenal ulcers, and Helicobacter pylori infection (in combination with antibiotics like clarithromycin and amoxicillin).

It contains Vonoprazan, which works by blocking the H⁺/K⁺-ATPase enzyme in the stomach’s parietal cells, thereby reducing gastric acid production. Unlike traditional proton pump inhibitors (PPIs), Vonogen acts quickly, does not require acid activation, and provides longer and more consistent acid suppression.
