Ace-Proxyvon Gel

Ace-Proxyvon Gel is a topical preparation that combines several pain-relieving agents. It is designed to reduce discomfort in muscles and joints. When applied, the gel first produces a cooling effect on the skin and later a warming sensation. This sequence enhances circulation in the affected area and helps distract the body from the feeling of pain.

This medicine is only for use on the skin. It should be applied in a thin layer over the painful region with clean and dry hands, gently rubbed in until absorbed. It should not be applied to broken skin or near sensitive areas such as the eyes, mouth, or nose. If it accidentally touches these places, rinsing thoroughly with plenty of water is advised.

Some individuals may notice reactions like itching, redness, mild burning, or irritation at the site of use. These reactions are usually temporary and tend to settle on their own as the body gets used to the medication. If they continue or become bothersome, medical advice should be sought.

The gel may be used for quick relief of pain, stiffness, and swelling of muscles or joints. It is most effective when applied at the first sign of pain. A thin coat can be used on the affected site three to four times in a day, followed by gentle massage.

The active substances in Ace-Proxyvon Gel include diclofenac, capsaicin, methyl salicylate, menthol, and linseed oil. Diclofenac is a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory agent that blocks chemicals responsible for pain and inflammation. Capsaicin reduces transmission of pain signals through the nerves. Methyl salicylate and menthol create a cooling followed by warming effect on the skin, distracting the brain from pain perception. Linseed oil also supports relief from swelling and discomfort.

This preparation is intended for external use only. The amount and duration of application should follow medical advice or the instructions on the label. Hands should be washed after application unless they are the site being treated.

No specific interactions with alcohol, driving, kidney, or liver conditions have been identified. However, pregnant or breastfeeding women should seek medical guidance before use, as safety information is limited.

In case a dose is missed, it can be applied when remembered. If it is close to the next scheduled use, the missed application should be skipped rather than doubling the dose.
