Adalene Nanogel Gel

Adalene Nanogel Gel is a topical preparation used for the management of acne. It combines two active medicines that work together to lower excess oil production, calm inflammation, destroy acne-causing bacteria, and protect the skin from infection. By doing so, it helps in preventing the appearance of pimples, whiteheads, and blackheads, gradually improving the overall texture of the skin.

This gel is intended only for use on the skin and should be applied exactly as recommended by your healthcare provider. The affected area is usually cleaned and dried before applying a thin layer of the gel. It should not be placed on cuts, broken skin, or sunburned areas. Care must be taken to avoid contact with the eyes, mouth, and nostrils. If accidental exposure occurs, rinse thoroughly with water. The results may take a few weeks to become visible, and treatment should be continued regularly. Stopping too soon may cause acne to return, so always check with your doctor before discontinuing.

Some individuals may experience mild reactions such as skin irritation, burning, redness, dryness, peeling, or excess oiliness. These are usually short-lived and disappear once the skin adjusts to the medicine. If these effects persist or cause discomfort, medical advice should be sought.

Before using this gel, inform your doctor if you are using other skin medications or if you have any bowel-related problems. Pregnant women should consult their doctor before use, as animal studies suggest possible risks to the baby. The gel is not considered safe while breastfeeding, as traces of the drug may harm the infant.

The medicine combines adapalene and clindamycin. Adapalene is a retinoid, derived from vitamin A, which reduces the buildup of natural oils, prevents clogging of pores, and promotes shedding of dead skin cells. Clindamycin is an antibiotic that penetrates the skin and eliminates bacteria responsible for acne. Together, they improve the skin’s condition and help prevent scarring if started early.

The gel should be applied once daily or as directed by the doctor. Wash hands after use unless they are being treated. If a dose is missed, apply it when remembered, but skip it if the next application is near. Doubling the dose is not advised.
