Azilide 100 RediMed Oral Suspension is a pediatric antibiotic medication used to treat a wide range of bacterial infections, including those affecting the upper and lower respiratory tract, middle ear, skin, soft tissues, urinary tract, and sinuses. These infections occur when harmful bacteria invade the body and multiply rapidly, causing illness.

This suspension contains Azithromycin, a macrolide antibiotic that works by blocking the production of proteins essential for bacterial growth and survival. By preventing bacteria from multiplying, it helps the body fight off the infection effectively.

It is important to administer this medicine exactly as directed by the doctor. The suspension can be given with or without food, but it should always be taken at the same time each day for best results.
