IKATEL-AM Tablet is a combination medication containing Telmisartan (40 mg) and Amlodipine (5 mg). It is primarily used for the effective management of high blood pressure (hypertension). By combining two active ingredients with complementary mechanisms, this tablet helps in achieving better blood pressure control than either medication alone.

• Telmisartan is an angiotensin II receptor blocker (ARB) that relaxes blood vessels by blocking the action of a natural substance that tightens them.

• Amlodipine is a calcium channel blocker that widens blood vessels and improves blood flow, helping to reduce the heart’s workload.

Uses:

• Management of high blood pressure

• Reduction in the risk of cardiovascular events like heart attack and stroke in hypertensive patients

Dosage & Administration:
Take the tablet exactly as prescribed by your doctor, usually once a day, with or without food. It’s recommended to take it at the same time daily for consistent blood pressure control.

Precautions:
