Ivapace 5mg Tablet is a prescription medicine recommended for people suffering from chest discomfort linked to heart problems (angina) and for those with long-term heart failure. It helps the heart work more efficiently by lowering the speed of the heartbeat, which eases chest tightness and reduces the chances of hospital admission in heart failure cases.

The dose is based on the condition being treated, and treatment is generally long-term. It should always be taken with meals, ideally at the same hour every day. Taking more than prescribed can slow the heartbeat excessively, which may cause unusual tiredness or shortness of breath, in which case medical attention is required.

Some people may experience side effects such as flashes of bright vision, slow heart rate, dizziness, blurred sight, high blood pressure, irregular heartbeat, or ECG variations. In rare cases, fainting or severe changes in rhythm may occur and need urgent care. Driving should be avoided until you know how your body responds, particularly because this medicine may cause visual disturbances at night.
