How to Give
Administer this syrup exactly as prescribed by the doctor, at a fixed time each day, with or without food. For asthma, it is usually better given in the evening or a couple of hours before physical activity. For allergies, it can be given either in the morning or evening, depending on when the symptoms appear. If both asthma and allergy symptoms are present, evening dosing is generally preferred. If your child vomits within half an hour of taking the syrup, repeat the dose, unless it is almost time for the next one.

Treatment Course
Relief may begin after a few doses, but it is important to continue the full prescribed course for maximum benefit. Stopping the medicine suddenly may worsen the condition.

Possible Side Effects
This syrup is usually well tolerated, but some children may experience mild side effects such as nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, dry mouth, headache, rash, fatigue, drowsiness, fever, or temporary elevation of liver enzymes. These usually resolve as the body adjusts. If the symptoms persist or become troublesome, consult the doctor.
