New Saridon is an analgesic (pain-relieving) and antipyretic (fever-reducing) medicine, commonly used for relief of headaches, body aches, and migraines.
The classic Saridon formula is a combination of Propyphenazone, Paracetamol (Acetaminophen), and Caffeine.
Some variants in India (marketed as New Saridon) mainly contain Paracetamol 500 mg as the major ingredient.

Composition / Ingredients

The composition may vary by version, but a typical formulation includes:

• Paracetamol (Acetaminophen) – 500 mg
Relieves pain and reduces fever.

• Propyphenazone – 150 mg
Acts as an anti-inflammatory and enhances pain relief.

• Caffeine – 50 mg
Improves the speed and effectiveness of pain relief and reduces fatigue.

Indications / Uses

New Saridon is used for mild to moderate pain such as:

• Headache and migraine

• Body pain, muscle ache, and backache

• Dental pain and menstrual pain

• Fever associated with pain

Dosage & Administration

• Usually 1 tablet every 4–6 hours as needed for pain.

• Maintain at least a 4-hour gap between doses.

• Do not exceed the maximum daily dose indicated on the label (important due to paracetamol content).

• Take with or after meals to avoid stomach upset.

• Avoid combining with other medicines that contain paracetamol.

Precautions & Warnings

• Do not use if allergic to paracetamol, propyphenazone, or caffeine.

• Use with caution in liver or kidney disease.

• Avoid alcohol consumption to prevent liver damage.
