Rabokan 20 Tablet is a medication used to lower excess acid production in the stomach. It is commonly prescribed for conditions such as acid reflux, gastric ulcers, and disorders like Zollinger-Ellison syndrome. By decreasing stomach acid, it provides effective relief from discomfort and supports the healing of ulcers and inflammation in the digestive tract.

This tablet should ideally be taken on an empty stomach, around one hour before a meal—preferably in the morning. For best results, take it at the same time each day as advised by your healthcare provider. It is important to complete the full course of treatment even if your symptoms improve early. You may also benefit from lifestyle changes, such as eating smaller meals and avoiding spicy, fatty, or caffeinated foods.

Common side effects of Rabokan 20 Tablet may include headache, dizziness, nausea, vomiting, gas, abdominal pain, diarrhea, and weakness. These are generally mild and short-lived. However, prolonged use (especially over a year) may increase the risk of bone fractures or lead to low magnesium levels, which can cause tiredness, muscle cramps, or irregular heartbeat. Regular monitoring may be required during extended treatment.

This medication may not be suitable for individuals with severe liver conditions or those taking certain other drugs, such as treatments for HIV.
