Introduction

Rcifax 550 Tablet contains Rifaximin (550 mg), an antibiotic that works mainly in the intestines with very little absorption into the blood. It is commonly prescribed for the treatment of hepatic encephalopathy, a condition caused by the buildup of toxins in patients with chronic liver disease. It is also used for irritable bowel syndrome with diarrhea (IBS-D) and in some cases for intestinal bacterial infections. By reducing harmful bacteria in the gut, it lowers toxin levels and improves gut health.
