Rivaflo 2.5 Tablet is a blood thinner medicine that helps prevent the formation of harmful blood clots. It is mainly prescribed to lower the risk of clot-related conditions such as heart attack, stroke, and deep vein thrombosis (DVT). By improving blood flow, it reduces the chances of serious complications in patients at risk.

How it Works
Rivaflo 2.5 Tablet contains Rivaroxaban, an anticoagulant. It works by blocking Factor Xa, a substance involved in the blood clotting process. This prevents abnormal clot formation without interfering much with normal circulation.

Uses

• Prevention of heart attack and stroke in high-risk patients

• Management of blood clots in veins (DVT)

• Prevention of clot-related complications after surgery

• Helps in reducing the risk of pulmonary embolism (PE)

How to Take
Take the medicine exactly as prescribed by your doctor. Swallow the tablet whole with water, preferably at the same time each day. Do not skip doses, and do not stop taking it suddenly without medical advice.

Possible Side Effects

• Increased risk of bleeding or easy bruising

• Nausea or stomach discomfort

• Headache or dizziness

• Weakness or tiredness

Seek immediate medical care if you notice heavy bleeding, blood in stools or urine, coughing up blood, or unexplained severe headache.

Missed Dose
If you miss a dose, take it as soon as you remember on the same day. If it is already time for the next dose, skip the missed one. Do not double the dose.
