Rosucrest-F Tablet

Rosucrest-F Tablet is a combination medicine prescribed to manage high cholesterol and triglyceride levels. It lowers bad cholesterol (LDL), reduces triglycerides, and increases good cholesterol (HDL), thereby lowering the risk of heart attack, stroke, and other cardiovascular complications.

How it Works
Rosucrest-F Tablet contains two active ingredients:

• Rosuvastatin: A statin that reduces cholesterol production in the liver and improves lipid profile.

• Fenofibrate: A fibrate that primarily reduces triglycerides and increases good cholesterol.

Together, they provide better control in patients with mixed dyslipidemia (both high cholesterol and triglycerides).

Uses

• Treatment of high cholesterol (hypercholesterolemia)

• Reduction of high triglycerides (hypertriglyceridemia)

• Management of mixed lipid disorders

• Prevention of cardiovascular complications in high-risk patients

How to Take
Take the tablet as directed by your doctor, usually once daily. Swallow it whole with water, preferably after meals. Along with the medicine, follow a low-fat diet, regular exercise, and avoid smoking or alcohol.

Possible Side Effects

• Headache or dizziness

• Muscle pain, weakness, or cramps

• Stomach upset, nausea, or indigestion

• Abnormal liver function tests

• Rarely, gallstones or pancreatitis

Precautions

• Inform your doctor if you have liver, kidney, gallbladder, or muscle problems.

Missed Dose
If you forget to take a dose, take it as soon as you remember. If it’s close to your next dose, skip the missed one. Do not take two tablets at once.
