Rosufit 10 Tablet is a cholesterol-lowering medication that belongs to the statin group of drugs. It helps reduce elevated levels of cholesterol and triglycerides in the blood, which in turn lowers the risk of serious cardiovascular events such as heart attacks and strokes. Excess cholesterol can build up in blood vessels, leading to narrowing and blockages that compromise heart and brain health. This medication is considered safe for long-term use and can be taken with or without food. For best results, it’s recommended to take it at the same time each day. Since high cholesterol typically doesn’t cause symptoms, you may not feel unwell — but stopping the medicine could raise cholesterol levels again and increase your risk of heart disease and stroke. Rosufit 10 should be used alongside lifestyle changes including a balanced diet low in saturated fat, regular physical activity, avoiding tobacco, reducing alcohol intake, and maintaining a healthy weight. Routine cholesterol monitoring is advised while on treatment.

In people with high cholesterol or other risk factors, Rosufit 10 Tablet helps prevent atherosclerosis (hardening and narrowing of arteries). By improving lipid profiles — lowering “bad” LDL cholesterol and triglycerides while increasing “good” HDL cholesterol — it significantly reduces the risk of life-threatening heart and brain conditions.

Most individuals tolerate Rosufit well, but some may experience mild side effects, which usually resolve as the body adjusts to the medication. Notify your doctor if they persist or worsen. Report any unexplained muscle pain or yellowing of the skin or eyes. Typical side effects include muscle aches or weakness, headache, nausea, stomach discomfort, dizziness, and joint pain.

Take this medication exactly as directed by your healthcare provider. Swallow the tablet whole with water. It can be taken with food or on an empty stomach, but maintaining a consistent daily time is recommended.

It does not usually impair driving ability. However, Rosufit 10 should be used carefully in patients with kidney problems; dose adjustments may be required depending on severity. It is not suitable for individuals with active or severe liver disease, and regular liver function monitoring may be necessary.

If you forget to take a dose, take it as soon as you remember. If your next dose is near, skip the missed one and return to your regular schedule. Do not double the dose or take two doses within 12 hours.
