Rozucor F 20 Tablet

Rozucor F 20 Tablet is a medicine used to control high cholesterol and triglyceride levels in the blood. It is a combination of Rosuvastatin 20 mg and Fenofibrate, two medicines that work together to reduce harmful fats and improve heart health. Rosuvastatin lowers bad cholesterol (LDL) and increases good cholesterol (HDL), while Fenofibrate reduces triglycerides and other fatty substances in the blood. Together, they help protect against hardening of the arteries and reduce the risk of heart attack and stroke.

Doctors prescribe Rozucor F 20 Tablet to patients who cannot control cholesterol and triglycerides with diet and exercise alone, or who have mixed dyslipidemia (high cholesterol with high triglycerides). It is most effective when used along with lifestyle changes such as eating a healthy diet, regular exercise, weight control, avoiding alcohol, and quitting smoking.

Some common side effects may include stomach pain, nausea, headache, muscle pain, weakness, constipation, or indigestion. These are usually mild and temporary. Rarely, this medicine can affect the liver or muscles, so your doctor may suggest regular check-ups and blood tests while you are on treatment.

Rozucor F 20 Tablet should be taken once a day in the dose and duration prescribed by your doctor. It can be taken with or without food, preferably at the same time every day. Do not stop taking it suddenly without consulting your doctor, even if you feel well.

This medicine should be used cautiously in people with kidney or liver problems. It is not recommended during pregnancy or breastfeeding unless advised by a doctor.

If you miss a dose, take it as soon as you remember. If it is almost time for the next dose, skip the missed one and continue your usual schedule. Do not double the dose.
