Similac NeoSure is a spray-dried infant formula specifically developed for premature or low birth weight babies (born before 37 weeks or weighing under 2.5 kg). It provides enhanced nutrition to support catch-up growth, digestive health, and brain development during this critical stage. Enriched with essential nutrients such as DHA, Lutein, and Vitamin E, the formula supports cognitive function, visual development, and the immune system. The presence of calcium and phosphorus promotes bone strength, while its easy-to-digest composition makes it suitable for sensitive stomachs. Similac NeoSure meets the increased nutritional demands of preterm infants and helps support overall healthy growth.

It contains a blend of nonfat milk, corn syrup solids, lactose, soy oil, high oleic safflower oil, whey protein concentrate, medium-chain triglycerides, and coconut oil. Additional components include DHA (from C. cohnii oil), ARA (from M. alpina oil), lutein, beta-carotene, and a complete vitamin and mineral profile such as calcium, magnesium, iron, zinc, iodine, choline, taurine, and nucleotides to promote healthy development.

To prepare, wash your hands thoroughly and sterilize all feeding equipment by boiling for 5–10 minutes. Boil clean drinking water and allow it to cool until lukewarm. Add one level scoop (approximately 5.1 g) of Similac NeoSure powder to 30 ml of lukewarm water. Stir well and feed immediately using a sterilized spoon. Always use the scoop provided and follow your doctor’s recommendations for serving size.

Suggested hospital feeding schedule:

• 1000–1200 g: 1 scoop + 30 ml water, 5–6 feeds/day

• 1200–1400 g: 1 scoop + 30 ml water, 6–7 feeds/day

• 1400–1600 g: 1 scoop + 30 ml water, 7–8 feeds/day

• 1600–2000 g: 2 scoops + 60 ml water, 4–5 feeds/day

• 2000–2400 g: 2 scoops + 60 ml water, 5–6 feeds/day

Suggested post-discharge feeding schedule:

• 2.5–3.5 kg: 2 scoops + 65 ml water, 8–10 feeds/day

• 3.6–5.0 kg: 4 scoops + 130 ml water, 6–7 feeds/day

• 5.1–8.0 kg: 6 scoops + 195 ml water, 5–6 feeds/day
