Tamsin D Tablet PR is a prescription combination medicine that contains Tamsulosin (an alpha-blocker) and Dutasteride (a 5-alpha reductase inhibitor). It is mainly prescribed for benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH) in men. This condition occurs when the prostate gland becomes enlarged, leading to difficulty in passing urine. The dual combination helps in both improving urine flow and shrinking the enlarged prostate over time.
