Telvas-BS 5 mg Tablet 10’s is prescribed to manage high blood pressure, a long-term condition where the pressure of blood against the vessel walls remains higher than normal. If left uncontrolled, this can cause strain on the heart, irregular rhythms, stroke, or other cardiovascular complications.

The tablet contains bisoprolol and telmisartan. Bisoprolol belongs to the class of beta blockers and acts mainly on the heart by lowering heart rate and easing the heart’s workload. Telmisartan is an angiotensin receptor blocker that prevents natural substances from tightening blood vessels, allowing them to remain relaxed and improving blood flow.
